Is there a God?
Philosophers provide sound reasons for the existence
of God.

The
Beginning...
Philosophers
say it has to be a God, because everything has a cause and nothing in
the universe is self-caused (nothing creates itself). So there has
to be a God to cause the world to exist.
God begins it all: time, space,
energy and matter.

The
Existence...
If you see a chair in a room,
you know that someone must have put it there. It did not just pop into existence by itself. There are
many, many things in the world. Where did they come from? Who put them
there?
Here is a common sense question asked by many philosophers: "Why
is there something, instead of nothing?" Since there is something,
there has to be a God.

The
Thirst...
Our thirst points to the
existence of water. There is no desire without an object of
desire. All peoples in the history of the world have demonstrated a
desire for worshipping God as well as a desire for ultimate justice,
meaning and morality. This strongly points to the existence of God.

The
Beauty...
When we see a painting: its
artistry and design, we immediately know it is a creation of a genius
painter, even though we cannot see the painter or understand how
the painter painted it. By looking at the design and beauty of the
world around us, we know there is a Creator behind the Creation.

"From
the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that
God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and
divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God." (Romans
1:20 NLT)
