God wants you to receive His love and forgiveness in Jesus.

Nothing comes from nothing. The world can't just come from nowhere and for no reasons. There is a God who created this world. When we look at a watch, it is so complex and purposeful and we know that someone must have created it. Similarly, by looking at the complex structures of our body and other living things, we know that there must be a Designer, a Creator.

Although there is a Creator, we don't seem to know Him. On one hand, He is invisible; on the other hand, we are all separated from Him. It is like two little boys playing with toys in their room, shutting the door to their father. Although their toys, their food, their room, and their house were all bought by their father, and even the very lives of these two boys come from their father, the two sons, however, can choose to focus on playing with their toys and willfully ignore their father as if he were not there. Likewise, you and I can focus on our own lives and ignore the God who created the world and us.

Not only do we ignore Him when we focus only on our own lives, but also we, living without God, become self-centered. Self-centeredness breeds greed, lies, ungodliness, cheating, violence, and even murder and other evils. The Bible calls our separation from God as well as these evil thoughts and deeds "Sin". Because God is holy, God will bring justice to earth because of Sin. When God's judgment comes, we would all perish due to our sin.

However, this is not the fate that God wants for us. God created us not for judgment, but for our good because He loves us. Just as a father would give up his life to save his young child in danger, God came down to earth, that is Jesus, and died on the Cross for us. The reason that Jesus died on the Cross is to take all the punishment that we deserve onto Himself, so that we do not have to perish. That means Jesus died for you and me, and, in this way, God forgives all of our sin and gives us eternal life.

Jesus came and died on the Cross almost two thousand years ago, but not everyone is forgiven. God's forgiveness is like a gift, a present. If there is a gift especially for you, even if your name is written on it, you must take it into your hands and receive it for it to be yours. Otherwise, no matter how expensive it is, it will not have any meaning for you.

God is willing to forgive our sin through the death of Jesus on the Cross, because He loves you. We must receive this gift of forgiveness in order to have our sins forgiven. This gift is ready, and you can receive it now. Jesus said, "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." If you are willing to receive God's forgiveness, you can just pray to Him and invite Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sin, and He will. Then you will become His child, a Christian, and thus receive eternal life.

Are you willing? If so, you can pray to Jesus to invite Him into your heart. Pray like this:

Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I now invite you to come in my heart and accept You as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive all my sins, take control of my life, and make me the kind of person You want me to be.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
